Technical Support Engineer

A strong technical background in VoIP and related protocols such as SIP is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Unified Office has developed a next generation Unified Communications services platform for voice and data communications using well known cloud-based systems to create virtual “non-facilities” based back office systems that offer innovative mission critical services at a low cost of ownership.

Unified Office makes extensive use of channel partners for installation and deployment to our customers across the US.  You will be tasked with the installation, deployment and training of our solution at customer sites and with channel partners, in addition to performing Tier 1 through Tier 3 support. This position will require travel as needed estimated between 10-20%.

Duties Include:

  • Installation and deployment of our platform
  • Training customers and channel partners
  • Tier 1 through Tier 3 support
  • Network troubleshooting
  • VoIP configuration and troubleshooting
  • Performing system and protocol interoperability testing
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and customer training documentation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for customer support and sales
  • Support Sales teams in pre and post sales situations.

Skills & Experience

Good working knowledge of IP Networks, Security, and VoIP protocols such as SIP, SIP-T, TRIP, SIP Trunking, RTP, Stun. Web 2.0 development skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will also have a background in QA/Interoperability such as test plan creation, protocol debugging, and systems interoperability. Experience with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian), LAMP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs and firewalls. Programming using scripting languages such as Javascipt, Python, PHP, and Unix.

Business Development Representative

This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with a leading sales team and an extremely approachable and knowledgeable senior management team. This position is responsible for feeding the sales pipeline by identifying and developing new sales leads to then pass on to Unified Offices sales organization. This is accomplished through sourcing, contacting, educating and qualifying new prospects via phone and email to create sales ready opportunities.  In conjunction with inbound marketing leads, the Business Development Consultant qualifies and sets up initial discovery calls for the sales team within their territory via outbound efforts. Consistently meeting or exceeding goals around pipeline and revenue growth will ultimately measure your success. The Business Development Consultant position will give you back what you put in to it.

This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career.
